Puerto del Rosario to host food and toy collection on 12 December
Onda Fuerteventura’s charity collection returns to Puerto del Rosario on 12 December, collecting long-life food and toys for families in need across Fuerteventura.
A charity collection of long-life food and toys will take place in Puerto del Rosario on Saturday 12 December 2026. The donations will help families in need across Fuerteventura.
Onda Fuerteventura is organising the 12D Jornada Solidaria. The event returns to the area behind the church, known as the Trasera de la Iglesia. People can drop off donations from 08:00 to 22:00.
The station says this will be its 13th annual charity collection. It is asking listeners and the wider public to take part. The food and toys will go to the island’s most disadvantaged families.
Fourteen hours of live radio
Onda Fuerteventura will also broadcast a 14-hour radio marathon from 08:00. The station’s team will host special programmes about the charity event. These will include interviews, reports, music and performances.
Residents and visitors can donate behind the church in Puerto del Rosario throughout the Saturday event. The organisers are asking for long-life food and toys.
